It is a stereotype that British people love talking about the weather in their daily conversations but honestly, it is completely true. So, I thought I'd start off by saying it currently is slightly autumn-ish, slightly wintery but most definitely cold in the UK. Which means it is time to get the coats, jumpers and boots out!

I fell head over heels in love with these over-the-knee boots and I just knew they had to come home with me - it was honestly love at first sight! Okay okay.. without being over dramatic and all, they are literally the most stylish item in my wardrobe right now and make me feel like the ultimate fashion blogger.

I love how they are a statement in itself and so the outfits that I have been wearing with them are quite simplistic to show off the boots. They often involve an oversized jumper or longline shirt of some sort. The boots add a bit more umph to the look and make it appear that I have made more of an effort - but I really haven't.

Here is how I styled them with this particular outfit..

The boots are pretty much what I've wanted in a pair of over-the-knee boots. They have a slight block heel, not too high or too flat. A slightly square-ish, kind of round shaped toe, which doesn't make my small feet look abnormally big. Also, they are a mock suede material and are easy to wipe clean.

I rarely shop at Zara, mostly because I find it too pricey, but this was reasonable for a pair of good quality boots (I believe I got them for around £35 in the sale).

I decided to wear this with a neutral ensemble. This khaki longline jumper is so comfortable and is a really nice length, especially since I am so short and I tend to drown in things sometimes. The camel coat adds more fashion blogger vibes to the outfit and looks nice against the khaki and black.

Also, I have a bunch of silver and gold coloured rings on because I like mixing colours and defy the 'rules' of silver and gold accessories (rebel, I know!).

How do you style your over-the-knee boots?

Jumper: H&M (similar) / Leggings: H&M / Coat: Missguided (similar) / Boots: Zara / Rings: H&M
