Stripes X Spring

Oh hello SPRING! This week the UK has been blessed with something very rare... sunshine!! Walking around the university campus in the sun makes getting through these final few weeks a little bit better. There is also a very Instagram worthy blossom tree in my garden, along with plenty of daffodils. Suuuuuper pretty! I can't wait till the weather warms up a little bit more just so I can leave the house without my coat!

Anyway, I went shopping recently and basically fell in love with this super cute blouse. It has blue and white stripes (my fave) AND ruffles, what more could you want?! I literally want to wear it every single day for the rest of my life (and I probably will tbh).

The shirt is so simple and smart yet it can be dressed up or down to suit your occasion. You could pair it with jeans, trousers or tucked into a skirt. Pop on a pair of boots, heels or even Converse. It is such a versatile piece and better yet it was only £10 from good ol' Primark!

A good pair of black skinny jeans are always a staple in my wardrobe, whatever the season. I prefer jeans that go just above my ankle and are a bit high waisted. I've mentioned these New Look jeans (linked below) in a style post previously but they are basically so much better than the Topshop Joni Jeans! Also, boots are still a necessity during the British spring season as we cannot escape the rain! The heeled pair I have on here is so comfy to wear around all day errday.

I accessorised with some simple gold jewellery to keep the outfit quite minimal and sophisticated. A watch and a few rings are my go-to for daily wear. These dainty rings are some of my absolute favourites because whether I wear one or six, it still looks elegant and just cool tbh. Plus, the gold watch has a very understated design and adds to the classy vibe.

Okay, so let's talk about my bag! I recently went on a little trip to Bicester Village and fell in love with this beautiful navy handbag by DKNY. It is basically exactly what I've been looking for! I wanted a bag that wasn't black, big enough to store a few bits in but not too big and has a long strap so I can wear it as a side bag.

That's exactly what the bag is! The gold hardware against the navy blue looks stunning and makes a change from black too. I also love that it has two different sections to organise the random bits and bobs I keep in my bag!
