Bloggers Day Out In London #BlogosphereCafe

I've never been to a blogger event before so when I got the chance to go to the Blogosphere Cafe last Saturday, I was over the moon! I was so excited to meet other bloggers, listen to what they had to say and of course share the experience with my good friend, Weronika (read her beauty and fashion blog here).

Since we were going to be travelling to London for the event, we thought we might as well make a day out of it! I rarely get the opportunity and the chance to visit London so I was definitely up for a lot of food, a bit of sight seeing and of course a mini bloggers photoshoot!

Here is a snapshot of the day...

Firstly, we headed to Borough Market for a little wander round. We were starving and quite delirious after catching the coach at 7am, so we opted for an amazing cheese toastie for breakfast (best decision ever FYI). I'm dreaming about how amazing it was but also very disappointed in myself because I couldn't finish all of it!

After pottering about for a bit, we headed to the event. It was at The Gallery, Lumiere London and it was the prettiest little location! We were greeted by the Editor-in-Chief of Blogosphere magazine, Alice Audley. She was lovely and welcoming and directed us to drinks and Crosstown Doughnuts!

We then mingled with a few other bloggers and took a bunch of photos (obviously). There was a flat lay station, cute sofas and backdrops - a bloggers dream!

I had the chance to meet the lovely Lauren from Britton Loves (I love her blog!) and had a mini photography masterclass with her! She was so friendly and sweet and definitely talented with her photo taking skills. Lauren is going to be launching photography workshops specifically directed to bloggers soon and I definitely want to attend those to soak in all of her camera knowledge! I don't think I've met any of my favourite bloggers before in real life but they seem so normal?! Isn't it weird that they are just normal people!

So...? Fragrances were also at the event, helping us pick our favourite fragrances from their new collections! They had body mists and perfumes and I definitely managed to find some favourites. They were kind enough to gift us with some fragrances and plenty of information about their products too!

Blogosphere also provided us with a mini gift bag filled with a few goodies. So lovely!

After the event, we headed to Exmouth Market in search of some more food (duh). We came across Dirty Burger and surprisingly, I really enjoyed their veggie burger - so delicious! The market also had some really cute coffee shops, bakeries and other independent stores. I came across this bunch of cacti and succulents and could not miss an opportunity to photograph them. I wish I could've had them all!

Sadly that bought us towards the end of the day. It was a fun-filled day with plenty of food and sun - what more could you want?! My first blogger event was pretty fun and I'm definitely interested in going to a few more in the future. It was really nice to network and meet new bloggers, share thoughts and discuss our thoughts about the blogosphere!
