... it would be these! These days makeup palettes come in all different shapes and sizes. Eyeshadow palettes, blush palettes, concealer palettes, contour palettes, lip palettes - name anything and there is now a palette for it. Personally, I'm a more classic palette lover and prefer eyeshadow palettes and the occasional blush and contour palette.
I was having a little browse around my collection the other day and noticed that if I were to use one of the palettes, I always gravitate towards these three. They are all under £20, which is a big bonus! So, without further ado, let me introduce you to my favourite beauty palettes.
MAKEUP REVOLUTION FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE PALETTE
I posted a picture of this on my Twitter when it was first released last year and I remember all of my comments were filled with heart eyes emojis! Everyone and their dog loves this palette because, well just look at it! There are mattes, shimmers, glitters, satin finishes with an array of neutrals and more bold colours. It is just a great all-rounder eyeshadow palette in my opinion! Read my review (which is slightly embarrassing already) to find out more and too see swatches of this palette.
ZOEVA COCOA BLENDS PALETTE
Like I mentioned earlier, I'm an eyeshadow palette lover so 2/3 palettes I am featuring in this post are eyeshadows! This one is probably my top favourite. I was drawn to the pink and rust shade in this palette because I actually love wearing both of them on an evening out. The shade selection is so unique and you can go bold with a pinky red eyeshadow look, sultry with a grey and black smokey eye or play it safe with some of the more neutral tones. It is just a beautiful palette and is such good quality too! I was contemplating buying this palette for months and I'm so glad that I finally did.
MAKEUP REVOLUTION ULTRA CONTOUR PALETTE
A face palette - yay! I was never into the whole contouring and highlight phase when it first became a thing but this palette changed my mind! Bronzers can look quite orange on my skin and so using this as a subtle contour but mostly for bronzing was a life changer. It is a powder palette, which is what I was looking for because I'm not into the whole cream contour look. I also like how there are three different contour shades to pick from so you can go subtle or strong depending on what you are feeling. Additionally, there are some face powders and highlight shades, which are also very useful and pretty. Makeup Revolution have some great palettes and I am already eyeing up a few more from their collection!
