My Problem Skin Saviours

With my stress, anxiety and all sorts of other levels being completely all over the place for the past few months, it's really been taking a toll on my skin. I thankfully have pretty good skin 80% of the time but there are phases where my skin breaks out, goes extremely dry or even both simultaneously! Here are a few products that have been working to help my skin combat these problematic issues...

I've never really been big on face masks but over the past few months I have realised how fab they are! I started by DIY-ing some (recipe here!) and then moved onto purchasing some.

For oily, spotty and blemish prone skin, I highly recommend the Origins Out of Trouble face mask. It is a 10-minute treatment designed to rid your skin of all troubles, as the name suggests. I like to use this as an all over mask when I have a few break outs across my face or as a spot treatment for those bigger blemishes.

When my skin is all over the place, aka a bit dry and a bit oily, I like the L'Oreal Paris Pure Clay Glow Mask. This product has some beads in it so it is great for exfoliating, especially when removing the mask. It is also formulated with a clay and red algae, which is specialised for brightening the skin and providing that glow. Everybody wants that glow!

Everyone loves the Pixi Glow Tonic! And I finally understand the hype too. It is basically an exfoliating toner that contains glycolic acid, ginseng and aloe vera. I'd say this is for all skin types but it may irritate dry or acne prone skin. I like to use this when my skins texture is a bit meh. I sometimes come out with a few tiny spots on my forehead or on my cheeks, so this is where I usually focus the product. It's so simple and easy to use as you just pop a bit on a cotton pad and swipe it across your face.

For severely dry skin, I love The Body Shop Vitamin E range. In particular these two products: Vitamin E Serum-in-Oil and Vitamin E Eye Cream. I usually apply the oil to freshly washed skin and then follow up with my usual moisturiser and then the eye cream. I just love how hydrating these products are and they are my go-to's when it comes to dehydrated skin.

Have you tried any of these? What are your problematic skincare favourites?
