Review: Revlon Pro One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser

I've been letting my hair grow recently and sometimes long hair paired with curly hair isn't the best combination. It gets a bit out of hand! But for the past few weeks, this new hair tool in my collection has been making me feel like a new woman. The Revlon Pro One-Step Hair Dryer and Volumiser is a 2-in-1 tool that dries your hair whilst smoothing it out in a straight, wavy or curly style, allowing you to recreate a salon blow dry at home.

I've always been scared of round barrel shaped brushes with my hair (anyone else get their hair tangled in one?!) but this brush is not the same. As the brush seamlessly glides through your hair and dries in, its easy to manoeuvre and makes creating your desired style easier, whether it is straight, wavy or curly. There is also a cool tip at the end of the brush so you can use it without a glove or getting burnt.

There are different heat settings on the brush, cool, medium and hot so you can avoid further damage by using the cooler setting or use the hot setting if you are in a rush! This normally gets my hair done in 10 minutes, which is perfect for mornings.

Most of the time, I like to let my hair air dry for as long as possible before it gets too dry to style using the brush. This way the damage is minimal, compared to drying your hair straight from the shower. I work in layers, splitting my hair into 3 sections and starting at the bottom working my way up. I've found that using the brush under the hair as well as on top, creates less frizz and provides a smoother finish.

I'd seen many dupes of this type of hairdryer brush on the market but I like the simplicity of this one. There's no need to swap barrels around tools around as this is a simple hairdryer barrel brush. Plus, I know many people with this particular product and I've never heard a bad thing. So if you are looking for a new hairstyling tool or thing this would change your life too, make sure to grab one of these. They are often out of stock so Amazon or Boots are your best bets!
