Simplistic Skincare

Simplicity is key. This applies to a lot of things, in my opinion...

I think a good skincare regime is the basis to good skin. I have so many creams, scrubs and all sorts, but I have narrowed it down to my holy-grail products. I am going to share with you my skincare favourites. This is almost like a routine but it is far from complex and is fairly inexpensive too.

Simple Kind To Skin Micellar Cleansing Water.

Quite a while ago, a micellar water craze sparked amongst the blogosphere. It is only now that I understand why. This Simple one is so inexpensive, feels great and does a fab job at removing makeup. I just use one or two cotton rounds and gently take the makeup off. I love the feeling it leaves after too as my skin is so smooth and supple. It's great for if you have sensitive skin because it doesn't sting or burn and also doesn't irritate your eyes when you remove eye makeup.

St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub.

This scrub is honestly my holy grail. My mum introduced it to me and I have never stopped using it since. I have the invigorating formula but it also comes in a gentle one. This one is good for a deep clean especially with a little facial brush. It doesn't have a weird smell, doesn't break me out and lasts ages! Definitely recommend if you are after a new facial scrub.

Body Shop Aloe Protective Serum.

I usually use this serum after I've washed my face in the mornings. I like the cooling sensation it gives my skin and how refreshing it is. It is meant for sensitive skin which means it doesn't burn or irritate the skin. I love most of the products from the aloe vera range at The Body Shop, but this one really helps soak in extra moisture.

Nivea Soft Cream.

Don't mind my grubby tub but I've had it for a while! I usually just depot a big tub into a small one as it is easy to hold. As you can tell, this cream is well loved. It's a classic, I've used it for years and I have never ever had any issues with it on my skin. After the serum, I usually apply this and it provides great moisture to the skin. Also, very affordable and easy to get your hands on!
