Yes, you read the title right... free beauty samples! FeelUnique has a Pick 'n' Mix service that allows you to pick five free samples by just paying for the shipping cost. The delivery charge of £3.95 is actually redeemable to another order you place afterwards! When I heard about this service, I couldn't really say no. It is a great way to try products before committing to actually buy them.
Here is what I picked up..
First of all.. I have never tried the NARS Laguna Bronzer and they had a sample of the product so I thought why not? Another beauty sample I picked up was the By Terry Cover-Expert Perfecting Fluid Foundation. I have heard a lot about the brand and have never had the opportunity to try anything by them. I can't wait to give both of these makeup products a whirl!
Recently, with the cold weather and all, I've been suffering from dry lips. My actual lips are fine but sometimes I feel like I need a cream for the outer areas nearer to my skin. I thought that the Thalgo Ultimate Time Solution Eyes and Lips cream would be perfect to help combat this issue.
I am a big fan of my boring Nivea cream and it does the job but I thought I'll try something else to change things up a bit. The La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 is a cream I have heard a lot of bloggers talk about so I picked a sample of one of these.
Finally, I got the Burt's Bees Almond and Milk Beeswax Hand Cream. I have never tried a hand cream of this texture and I was a bit sceptical. It felt like it wasn't as moisturising but at least it wasn't slippery like some other hand creams.
That's what I picked up from the FeelUnique Pick 'n' Mix range. I like the concept and idea of the whole service. You can redeem your £3.95 back by placing another order so you are basically trying the products for free! The website clearly shows what packaging the samples come in too. Whether it is a pot, sachet, tube... it's very clear, which is a big plus.
It was kind of like getting a beauty subscription box (next to try on my list) but I got to choose what went in!
What do you think you'll pick up?
Ok I need to place myself an order right now! Haha ♥
