A Mini Superdrug Beauty Haul & First Impressions

I never really share my purchases on the blog but I thought I'd do a little Superdrug haul today! A couple of weeks back I did an online order to replenish my skincare stash and see what was new in the beauty section. I've been trying them them out and wanted to share what I bought as well as my first impressions on some of the products.

My daily serum ran out and I thought I'd try something new. So I picked up the Superdrug Calm Skin Hydrating 2in1 Serum & Moisturiser. I've not tried their own-brand range so I thought I'd try this out. I've been using it everyday and it is actually a very good replacement! It hydrates my skin and keeps it nourished, which is down to the Hyaluronic Acid and Chamomile.

Another own-brand product I purchased is the Superdrug Vitamin C Booster because I am looking to incorporate more Vitamin C into my skincare. Infused with Kakadu Plum and Goji Berry Extracts, this product is meant to detoxify your skin and make it appear smoother and brighter. So far it's doing exactly that whenever I use it so I'm excited to continue using it.

I was in the mood the purchase some make up and I've been lusting over Glossier's cream blushers lately but can't justify the price so I settled for the MUA Blushed Liquid Cream Blushers in Rouge Noir and Taupe Tango. It was on offer for just £2.50 a pop so I figured I'd try it out! I prefer the darker shade rather than the peach coloured one but I'd recommend giving these a go if you are looking for a cream blush.

I love the Weleda Skin Food and since I was running out, I decided to get another tube. I've banged on about this cream a lot lately so I won't babble on too much but if you suffer with extremely dry skin or eczema, this might be a lifesaver. It is for me!

Since I love the Skin Food cream so much, I decided to give the Weleda Baby Calendula Face Cream a go. I know it's meant for babies but if it is gentle enough for them, it's gentle enough for me! After using this, I'd say its very close to the Skin Food but slightly lighter in consistency and less tacky. Perhaps this makes it better for everyday use, but I don't mind using either.

And that's my mini Superdrug beauty haul - what are your favourites?
