Tried + Tested: 4 Hair Oils For Dry & Dehydrated Hair

As a curly haired girl who also has dry & dehydrated locks, I've been testing out different hair oils for as long as I can remember! I've tried a classic coconut oil hair mask and I do love it but more as a treatment rather than an everyday type of oil. I've also tried many other hair oils in the past but there's currently 4 in my collection that I wanted to share my thoughts on today...

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil | £35.00

This is the latest hair oil in my collection so I've only been using it for a short while, however, it is a real treat to have! Not only does it smell insanely good, it also leaves my hair feeling nourished without the greasiness. The honey oil is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins, which works to strengthen the hair and make it look healthy and shiny too.

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Miracle Hair Oil with Coconut | £6.50

I've repurchased this hair oil countless times now and all with good reason, of course! It's the most affordable hair oil I've found that actually feels great in my hair. Sometimes I slather lots of this on as an overnight treatment before washing it out in the morning but mostly use it as a styling product. A little goes a long way and your hair is left feeling hydrated and healthy. I also prefer the coconut formula as it gives that little bit extra hydration for my dry curls.

Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil | £28.00

Since I'm so in love with the L'Oreal Elvive Miracle Hair Oil that I don't think I could look back and purchase this product again. Mostly because of the price! But I know a lot of people do love the Olaplex No7 Bonding Oil and perhaps it works better paired with other Olaplex products. This isn't a product that I reach for a lot because of my other favourites, but it is nice for a dry and dehydrated hair type.

Aduna Baobab Oil | £14.99

I was kindly gifted this oil a while back and I loved it because it was a multipurpose product. It can be used on the skin, nails, body etc which makes the price so worth it! I do like this product and I tend to reach for it as a treatment mask rather than a styling product. So I slather a bunch of the oil all over my hair, massage it into the scalp and into the ends of my hair too. I noticed a lot of hair regrowth after using this product continually for a couple of months.

What is your favourite hair oil?
